We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.

So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.

This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.

We wrote about how the downtown CVS pharmacy refused to sell a dude a morning-after pill for his partner because he was not equipped with a vagina or a uterus.

One reader agreed with that decision, saying who knew what motives the guy might have had? Another reader was quick to disagree.

Allison wrote:

This is ridiculous. Is it posible a man can use the morning after pill for nefarious purposes? Absolutely. I can also go and spike a young kids drink with Tylenol. Or as someone pointed out in my twitter feed yesterday, some rapists also buy condoms. Should we outlaw or strongly restrict Tylenol and condoms as well?

A trans man could also need the morning after pill for himself. Who do you suppose he should get to buy it for him?
