The Harris County District Attorney's office will decide whether to present charges to a grand jury in the death of Yohance McClane, 30, who was stabbed to death by his girlfriend, police say.

McClane died at his apartment in the 16100 block of Vickery on the northside about 12:40 a.m. Monday, HPD says.
"Patrol officers were dispatched to the above location and were told Mr. McClane and a female had gotten into an altercation and were injured," HPD says. "McClane was taken to the hospital where he died. The female, said to be McClane's girlfriend, was transported to Northwest Houston Hospital where she was treated and released."
