Kansas State As "Texas State Football Champs": You Didn't Play UH, Chumps

• Kansas State beat a Heisman trophy winner. Houston...which is pretty much disowned by the rest of Texas...lost to Southern Miss. (Did I read that right? Southern WHO? Whatever.) We swept the four Texas teams in our conference; they belong to us now. Our conference play makes your schedule look like a juco project. Hush now. EMAW, losers.

• University of Houston is the best team in Conference USA but not the best team in Texas until they played TT, T A&M, Baylor, and Texas. Yes, Kansas state is the best team in  Texas because K state played all four teams and beat them all. Next year kansas state will play TT, Baylor, Texas, and TCU and will houston play all those teams. The answer is NO. I know that they in a different Conferece.

• Strength of schedule remains the stupidest argument against the University of Houston. If the University of Houston was barely getting by teams and ended up undefeated, that's one thing and that's when the strength of schedule argument would have validity. However, if the Houston Cougars are head above shoulders versus every team in Conference USA, and go every week to prove it by dominating, humiliating, and crushing far inferior competition, then that's the Cougars doing their job. They're supposed to put up 73 points against Rice and Tulane. They were supposed to go and beat teams by 30, 40, 50 points. They were supposed to torch teams so badly that Case Keenum only had to play 3 1/2 quarters. The Cougars have been getting the job done. Quit whining.

• Sod buster? What is this, 1895? "Oh, the farmer and the cowman should be friends! One man likes to push a plow, the other likes to chase a cow, but that's no reason they can't be friends!" Everybody now! Sing it!

• Manhattan is a town filled with idiot sodbusters.  The jaycats should play in the Special Olympics since they are so stupid they couldn't find their asses in the dark with both hands and a candle.  I hear Manhattan's chief sport after football is calf humping, if you're slower than your sister that is.

• Will Houston be 8-0 right now if they play  UT,A&M, TTech, and Baylor on their schedule.Not just one school per year but all of them at the same season. Houston not the best school in texas until they played UT, TTech, Baylor, TCU.

• Please bring them on, we would beat them too!!!!!

• Obviously this guy was in the middle of Big 12 negotioations... Im still waiting for your thoughts (excuses) on your piss poor SOS.....

• Not sure why we are talking about Alabama, but if you want to talk about opponent's records, 9 of KState's opponents have winning records. Ouch...

• The reason TCU got the invite is there are no players in Ft. Worth to recruit.   Compare that to the nations 4th largest city where more recruits come from than any city in the USA, it's clear why UT approved adding TCU and ignoring Houston. 

• are we really aruguing about SOS?!? ok maybe in Houston they dont understnd that when your SOS is 115 that is NOT a good thing!! compare that to K-State's SOS (6th!!) and this argument is over...get over the fact that your a "poor man's" Boise State from the south who hasnt beaten anyone! Atleast Boise has a few LEGIT w's to hang their hat on...ask anyone not from Houston to name football schools from the State of texas and UH is an afterthought even behind Baylor and TCU (there is a reason they are entering the Big 12 and you are still begging for the invite) proving UH is nothing but the texas stepchild... I will gladly take all this back if Houston actually beats someone in a BCS bowl game but until then keep dreaming while u play ur GREAT conference opponents...

• Speaking of SOS's...Only 5 teams that Alabama has played so far have winning records..INCLUDING Georgia Southern in that 5!! Hummm....

• The three Tulsa losses everyone is bragging about also lost to some WEAK competion: Oklahoma - Lost to an unranked Tech and a barely ranked Baylor. Boise - Lost to an unranked TCU  OSU - Lost to an unraked ISU

• You went to school in Waco and you are talking bad about Manhattan? *boggle* Manhattan is a great town with great people, and I have very fond memories of my time there.

• If Manhattan is a trial, then Waco is a kangaroo court execution. 

• They're not afraid to play U of H.  They're afraid to plat AT U of H. And who can honestly blame them?  Robertson is a death trap built inside a death trap.  (I say this as a Cougar fan.)

• As a Baylor grad, I take my hat off to K-State.  They beat us.  Way to go.  They have an innovative coach, and if a t-shirt makes their students feel better about the fact they have to live in Manhattan, Kansas, well...God bless 'em. I've been to Manhattan, Kansas.  It is a trial.

• That isn't really saying much at all. First of all, no they aren't, USC is. Second, aside from USC, the south is awful. ASU looked ok for a while, then they completely imploded. The south is an embarrassment for the Pac-12 right now. It's not the team's fault, and I am certain it is likely difficult to get good teams to schedule you. But the fact is, there are probably 20 teams that could go undefeated with that schedule, and so it is difficult to figure out how good you really are.

• I wonder how far Houston is going to drop after they lose to Tulsa on Friday.......Who's 3 loses were to OU, OSU and Boise State. 20th?

• UCLA is leading their division at the moment.

• Could have been better.  Nebraska cancelled on the Coogs last year and they had to replace them with whoever they could find.   Not to mention the Coogs have requested series with all the instate school but they are afraid to play Houston. Just ask UT.  They love them some Rice, but fear the Coogs.

• It is just a joke to tweek the nose of our conference brethren in Texas, and those traitors from College Station. And we are the Wildcats, not the chickenhawks. And while Houston is a good team, your schedule is truly terrible. The best team you've faced is probably UCLA, which is just sad. There is just no way to know how you would do facing real competition. One thing I am certain of, is that KState would likely be undefeated after playing your schedule.

• Don't believe the hype.  KSU beat a bunch of over-rated Texas teams.  

• Wait a mintue? How many ranked teams has U of H beat this year? This wouldn't even be a game. U of H would be embarrased.
