Change is....bad.
Pretty much as Peter Gammons called it last month, Major League Baseball owners have approved the sale of the Astros to businessman Jim Crane, and the move of the team to the American League.

The move tosses away more than a half-century of tradition: The Astros have been in the National League since their birth 50 years ago, of course, but for years before that Houston minor-league teams fed the NL.

Now, get used to the DH and exciting visits by the Kansas City Royals.

The switch is not expected until after the 2012 season, so Astro fans still may get to see Carlos Lee try to field whatever position the teams tries to hide him at.
