You probably don't realize it, but today is election day.
Today's the day.
Mayor Annise Parker is running for another term, there's a crowded and interesting race to represent the new Montrose-Heights council district, and an HISD board member is trying to keep his job via anti-gay mailings.
Not to mention a whole slate of proposed state constitutional amendments, because you can't have an election day in Texas without voting on proposed constitutional amendments.
In case you're wondering where you should cast your ballot, Harris County has an easy way to get answers: just enter your info and it'll tell you where to go.
So get out there and get your voice heard.
