I only wish EVERY Bar B Q place would display your poster. If you folks love Iran so much...try taking one step into that country and you will not live long enough to regret it. For you young kids, they kidnapped over 50 Americans and held them hostage for almost 2 years. Abused them viciously. Nothing has changed, it has worsened. If you love and support Iran, Then leave my County and declare Iranian citizenship. Yes, obviously some people thought an appropriate/amusing response to the hostage-takers was to make a fake pic of a couple good ol' boys engaging in some frontier justice. But to others, the imagery of a couple good ol' boys engaging in some frontier justice is chilling and offensive beyond belief. M-hm. So it's OK to laugh at a representation of an Iranian to be lynched because he totally deserved it....sorta like the prevalent belief among rednecks of a prior generation who thought Till totally deserved to be lynched because he whistled at a white woman. In other words: among a certain mindset, the picture is fucking offensive, disgusting, and smacks of racism, regardless of what context you want to put it in, partly because it's a reminder of a time when a certain segment of society got to play judge, jury and executioner whenever they felt the urge -- often by hanging another segment of society from a tree. Among others, it's just harmless fun. And again, I'm not saying the owner should take it down -- it's his place, and he should hang whatever he wants on the walls.

• In my experience, "toothless cousinfuckers" make the very best barbecue.  You have to shut your eyes to some fairly bad stuff to get good barbecue. I've had to get insulted by the proprietor at Thelma's for violations of her arbitrary rules on more than one occasion in order to eat there, for instance. It was worth it.
