Coog Fever: Students Grab Those C-USA Championship Tickets

​This was the ticket line at the University of Houston this morning, as students lined up to get tickets for the Conference USA title game this weekend that, Coog fans fervently hope, will send the team to its first BCS bowl.

Robertson Stadium should be sold out for the game against Southern Miss, the only team standing between sixth-ranked UH and a big-time bowl like the Sugar, against a top-tier college that will allow the Coogs to prove whether they're an easy-schedule fraud or the real deal.

Tickets for the general public went on sale Friday, and UH reports that all 12,000 tickets were sold in just three hours.

If there are any tickets left out of those being reserved for season-ticket holders, they will go on sale Tuesday morning at 8 a.m., UH says.
