Kenneth Randle: See ya in 2022.
A 23-year-old man who sat unarmed as the driver of a bank-robbery car has been sentenced to 11 years without parole, mostly, it seems, because his colleagues were violent a-holes.

During the $40,000 robbery last October, the three dudes he was working with physically and verbally abused bank tellers. Later, as police chased them, two of them broke into an apartment and took the residents hostage.

So, clearly not nice guys. And Michael A. Wilbourn, 25, Michael J. Washington, 30, Ronald D. Thomas, 29, each seemed to earn sentences ranging from 15 to 22 years without parole.

But Kenneth R. Randle -- yeah, he drove the car, but he didn't rough up anyone or scare the crap out of them.

He obviously needs to choose better business partners, something which he will have 135 months in prison to contemplate.

The U.S. Attorney's Office noted the lengthy sentences handed down by U.S. District Judge Melinda Harmon.

"With the exception of Randle, the getaway driver who was not armed and did not enter the bank, each of the other three defendants received the maximum recommended federal guideline sentence, which includes the court's consideration of their 'unnecessarily cruel' treatment of the bank tellers during the robbery and their extensive criminal history," the USAO said.

And Randle didn't exactly get off easy, either.
