A man was found dead on the street near Texas Southern University Sunday night, and police have no idea why he was shot.
Shot and left for dead.
The body of Silas Albert, 22, was found in the 5000 block of Ennis about 11 p.m. Sunday by a TSU police officer driving home after work, HPD says.
Albert had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There is no known motive, nor suspect(s), in the shooting at this time," HPD says.
