Kevin Gonterman: Spent Two Snake-Ridden Days At Bottom Of 30-Foot Manhole
A League City man who has been missing since Saturday was found at the bottom of a 30-foot manhole, apparetnly lucid but suffering from a number of snake bites.

Kevin Gonterman, 25, was found by Texas Equusearch in the hole, which was labeled "Sewage" and no doubt smelled like roses. The hole is in a forest about 150 yards from any road, and is about four feet in diameter, the paper says.
The Houston Chronicle reports that Gonteman, now hospitalized, did not say how he got in the hole or how long he'd been there.
"That's all questions we're going to ask when he gets out of there," League City police officer John Jordan said.
Maybe he was trying to reenact his favorite scene from The Shawshank Redemption.
