If this doesn't get your blood pumping for a Rick Perry presidential candidacy then you, sir or madam, are devoid of blood.

Fighter jets twirling in the sky, vets saluting the flag, a hideous rock song and Rick Perry spouting cliches to the whitest audience outside of an NHL arena -- what more could you ask?

I like how they disabled comments on the video. Seems they don't want a bunch of Texans railing against Perry on their channel.

If he is depending on that video to fire up the electorate, he will be a resident of the great state of Texas for the rest of his life. That piece of junk was the most boring thing I have ever seen.

It's rare that a video would be so capable of inducing the watcher to vomit in their mouth, but this video does. When Perry states in his video that America was built on the backs of the workers does he really know what he is saying? If he means slavery, and exploitation and abuse of Asians, Irish, Italians, and others than he would be correct. It's always interesting when leaders like to remind Americans of the good old days, but what good old days are they referring to? The days when women could not vote. The days when slavery was alright. The days when African Americans had no rights. The days when Native Americans were almost completely wiped out. The days of prohibition when crime was given the perfect scenario to build vast wealth and power. The "good old days", don't really seem that great for many. He can keep the "good old days"! Moving forward as a people seems like a better option then looking back.

Look at the people he put on the board of education. According to them, slavery wasn't that bad and actually meant stronger families. Also, the Civil War wasn't caught over slavery but those damn Yankees stealing our mint juleps.
