A man was shot to death in a southside apartment complex early Saturday morning, police say.
"Person of interest" arrested wearing body armor
A "person of interest" has been arrested after a brief SWAT stand-off in which he was found to be wearing body armor. Glenn Terrance Sherman, 28, has not been charged in connection with the death of Donald Griffin, 28, although HPD says Sherman "was seen walking around the apartment complex armed with pistols" around the time of the shooting.
The incident happened about 12"50 a.m. Satruday in the 4000 block of Corder.
Sherman's been charged with felon in possession of a weapon and felon in possession of body armor' an investigation into Griffin's death continues.
