A group of local artists have succeeded in their quest to get the famed Mary's mural back in its rightful place before Saturday's Pride Parade.

The building, long home to the city's most famous gay bar, has been sold and much of the property will be a parking lot for two new restaurants. But the owner of the new places, Bobby Heugel, has promised to keep the actual Mary's building up.

The longtime mural had been painted over so it had to be redone.

A bunch of people pitched in, and they also resized the work, apparently, so as not to disturb street art by DUAL and Coolidge.

The wheatpaste by DUAL, on the right, has seen better times.

Coolidge's dinosaur is saved, too.
