Vintage Mother's Day Cards, Tweaked

This Sunday is Mother's Day, a holiday created to honor those chicks who brought us into the world, and who have managed to put up with our monkeyshines since the umbilical cord was cut.
Everyone celebrates the holiday differently. Most go out to eat with their favorite older ladies, or at least make a heartfelt phone call, wishing them the best and thanking them for staying inside them rent-free for the better part of a year.
As for me, I will most likely spend my Mother's Day cooking and grilling for my mother with my brother and father. The trip to the gun range was bandied about, but I was overruled.
We found these vintage Mother's Day cards, proving that times may change, but the love for our mothers will never waver.
