Imran Mynuddin: He's Not Stalking His Former Psychiatrist, He's Just Trying to Help

Paris Hilton: Another overriding interest of this dude.
It's only April, but thanks to KHOU, we became aware of a top contender for the Alleged Creep of the Year Award: Imran Mynuddin has been charged in Harris County on suspicion of stalking his former psychiatrist, who's now on the faculty of MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Mynuddin, of Palo Alto, California, has not yet been arrested. He's accused of e-mailing the psychiatrist -- as well as the MD Anderson president, FBI and Texas Board of Regents -- with allegations that the woman was not actually a licensed doctor. (She is).

"I don't think that person is really a doctor -- I think she's an escort," Mynuddin told Hair Balls. "And I don't have all the proof of that, but..."

Mynuddin, 34, originally was treated by the woman at a psychiatric hospital in Pittsburgh in 2000, and then he followed her to San Diego, according to the affidavit of University of Texas at Houston police officer Brodie Riner, filed in Harris County District Court. The officer stated that the psychiatrist "provided a copy of [a] police report from the San Diego Police Department" detailing Mynuddin's burglary of the woman's home.

"In the report, [Mynuddin] admitted to breaking into complainant's home with intentions to have sexual intercourse with the complainant and admitted to masturbating to complainant's photo on the Internet," according to the affidavit.

Mynuddin described the incident to us as a "trespassing issue," and said he never intended to sexually assault the woman.

"I have no violent criminal record," Mynuddin said. "...I would describe myself as an intellectual. I'm on the computer and I read books. I don't know how to use weapons...."

He explained that "Way back when, many, many years ago, I kind of had a crush on this woman," and he made a mistake by entering (some might say "breaking and entering") her house. He said he pleaded guilty, served a little time, and learned the error of his ways.

"I want to put that incident behind me," he said.

Although the woman obtained a protective order in San Diego, it expired in 2009, a year after she moved to Houston, according to the affidavit. That's when Mynuddin allegedly began calling and e-mailing her, stating that he was in Houston and wanted to see her.

Mynuddin told us that he contacted MD Anderson staff, and others, only because he's worried that an unlicensed doctor could be a health threat. (When we told him that the woman, according to the Texas Medical Board's Web site, is indeed licensed, Mynuddin suggested that she may have provided falsified records.)

But the doc isn't the only woman Mynuddin's interested in: The dude tweets constantly about Paris Hilton; he's also active on a PH fan page, and his TypePad profile has entries like "Hey Paris! I hate to be persistent but people are wondering when and where your party is at! Just for scheduling reasons. I hope you understand."

But Mynuddin also tries to be helpful, as is evidenced by this entry: "Hey Paris, I watched the intro to Jem and the Holograms from the '80's, and I was thinking, that if there were ever any little Hiltons, they might watch the remake someday!!"

Or there's this tweet, from January 30: "Hey Paris. Do you accept birthday cards by mail, or in person?" Or how about: "Is it possible to get your e-mail address or phone number?"

We just hope, for Paris's sake, there's not another "trespassing" incident.
