Scott Stewart: The pepper balls did him in

​While Scott Stewart might not charge much in rent, the 38-year-old East Texas landlord definitely does prove that adage that you get what you pay for. And there's another old chestnut his alleged actions would seem to buttress, one first uttered by fuck-up messiah Charlie Sheen's John the Baptist-like precursor, St. Rick James.

Sayeth St. Rick: "Cocaine is a helluva drug."

According to the Lufkin Police report, Stewart was letting a friend stay at his house for $20. The friend said Stewart was getting high on crack cocaine and decided he wanted $40 more from his friend. Police were dispatched to the house, located on the 400 block of East Laurel Avenue, in reference to an assault. The victim said Stewart pulled a knife on him when he would not give him more money and pushed him off the porch of the house, then would not let him have his bicycle back.

Stewart's mugshot certainly does speak of some Charlie Sheen-anigans.

Still, we're betting there weren't any C-List porn stars on the premises. This is, after all, Lufkin, epic crack bender or no.

Stewart did not go gently into jail on that good night. Police said he locked them out of his house, and would only open the door from time to time to taunt them from within. The situation was resolved with the judicious application of pepper balls fired into Stewart's living room. Driven forth by the fumes, Stewart surrendered to Lufkin cops.

He has been charged with aggravated robbery and resisting arrest.
