New Astros Scoreboard: It's Installed, and Hideous

We can't wait to see the ads!!

See that tiny little box to the left in the picture above?

That was the TV screen at Minute Maid Park, the one that seemed so big and so annoying as it broadcast endless ads, lame before-game intros, hot-sauce races, Kiss-Cam and hilarious baseball bloopers, all needed apparently to keep anyone from realizing they've paid good money to see the Astros lose again.

Now the promised high-def monstrosity of a replacement screen has been put up, and Lord help you if you want to have a conversation between innings

If the TV wasn't enough, they've also finished installing even more digitized strips between the seating levels to make things even more neon-y and annoying.
