James Cameron McKinney: Assistant Principal Caught Sexting Six Students Gets No Jail Time
James Cameron McKinney, an assistant principal at a Brownsville high school, was caught sexting a half-dozen of his students, asking for sex in return for money.![]()
James Cameron McKinney: Fortunately for him, none of the girls said yes
He's not going to prison.
McKinney received five years of deferred adjudication yesterday, the Brownsville Herald reports. On the other hand, at least he's resigned from the school district.
McKinney, a 20-year veteran educator, sexted a half-dozen different students on a single weekend, asking them for sex and saying he'd buy them anything they wanted in return. One got offered $100. Some got asked to send "sexy" pictures of themselves.
Maybe it was a one-time really, really bad weekend.
