Life in Prison With No Parole for Man Who Impregnated His 11-Year-Old Stepdaughter
A sentence has come down in the case of a Brazoria County man who impregnated his 11-year-old stepdaughter, and it's a steep one: Life in prison with no chance of parole.

KTRK, which broke the story and has been following it, says a judge handed down the sentence recently.
They are not identifying the convicted man because it would identify the victim.
The sentence -- equivalent to what someone convicted of capital murder would get if the death penalty was not given -- comes in a case where school officials first noticed the very young girl showing signs of pregnancy two years ago.
She gave birth by C-section in December 2009 and DNA tests proved the stepfather was the father. He had been insisting on his innocence throughout the investigation.
The victim told authorities the stepfather had been having sex with her since she was six years old, according to court documents.
