There's a breakthrough on Gabrielle Giffords's road to recovery in Houston: She wants toast.
Probably not the first thing we would have ordered
Okay, perhaps more important, she asked for it. With her voice.
"It's very good news," Giffiords's spokesman C.J. Karamargin told CNN.
Well, only if the toast at TIRR is any good. They burn it, we could be looking at a big setback.
It's really a great victory, though, and will probably fuel further speculation that the congresswoman might try to be there when her husband takes off on the space shuttle.
