Comment of the Day: Moon Missions Were Surrounded by UFOs, Dammit
We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We did a post commemorating the 40th anniversary of the largely forgotten Apollo 14 moon mission by mentioning some six weird things about it, including the fact that one member, Ed Mitchell, did ESP experiments onboard and later became what we perhaps uncharitably called "a raving UFO loon." One reader took us to task.
