Sam Houston State: Bomb Threat Evacuates Library

Categories: Crime, Education

Sam Houston State has evacuated the Newton Grisham library after a note was found containing a bomb threat.

"-A note was found at the Newton Gresham Library indicating a bomb was planted on the third floor of the building," the school announced on its web page. "The building has been evacuated and the police are examining the area for any potential devices."

No other buildings on campus are affected, and the school is not in a lockdown. Finals are still being taken. More details as they come.

AND AN ALL-CLEAR has been sounded, and the library is being reopened. No bomb found. The old "bomb threat to delay finals" plan is foiled again.
