Galleria: more traffic on the way
You know what the Galleria area needs? More traffic.

Luckily, that need is being addressed by developers who insist on building office towers there, office towers that will daily serve countless commuters who will be clogging the West Loop.

Drivers on the Loop now have noticed cranes near Richmond, and the above photo from Swamplot shows where the newest building will go.

The Houston Chronicle's Nancy Sarnoff has been keeping track of other projects being proposed for the area.

The Houston Press offices used to be located in near the Loop and San Felipe, and every Christmas season it would suck trying to get to and from work. We can't imagine what it will be like with a slew of new office workers jamming things up even more.
