Comments Of The Day: Debbie Riddle, Author

We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.

So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.

This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.

Yesterday we told you how State rep Debbie Riddle -- she of the disastrous CNN "anchor baby" interview, she of the camping out to file an anit-immigration bill -- had become a (self-)published author.

Taking Back Your Country, Your Community and Your Kids

She told readers the book "will help you reach greater heights in the political world and make a lasting and profound difference." And it is only 96 pages.

Some of our commenters were not impressed.

Said Thenonymous:

96 pages?

By comparison, those Choose Your Own Adventure books from your childhood had 144 pages each.
