We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.

So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.

This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.

This week saw the excitement of Baylor Day in Houston, a hgh from which most of us are only now slightly coming down from. In honor of the event, we offered five ways to act Baylor-ly, including acting -- for just one day -- like the school's president, Watergate Whitewater prosecutor Ken Starr, was not a political whore running wild at the orders of Tom DeLay's crowd.

One Baylor alum reacted more in sorrow than anger, although with a little anger, too -- just not at us.

If it's any consolation, everyone in my family (4 generations of Baylor grads) is mortified at the Ken Starr hire. Same with all my old college friends. NO ONE is giving money anymore.

Best part is the development people are resigned to it. When they call and you 'splain why you won't be contributing, they sigh and tell you they hear the same thing all day.
