Christmas Eve Store Hours, For All You Procrastinators

The doors!! They are closing!!

A Friday Christmas Eve shopping trip sounds like hell to us, but if you're determined to go through with it, you better plan ahead. And if a late gap in your gift list reveals itself, you need to know where to go.

So here are the major stores you can hit around Houston, and how long they plan to be open on Christmas Eve:

Target: Most are operating from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. But the stories in the Heights, Meyerland and Galleria will keep their doors open to 8 p.m.

Spec's: You can always find a good gift here. As long as you get there between 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday (That goes for all locatins, not just downtown.)

Dillard's: All stores are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. except at Greenspoint, where employees get to sleep in a little bit. It's open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Macy's: All locations are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Meaning if you're somehow stuck downtown working, you can make a mad dash at the end of the day. Lots of luck with that.

Neiman's: A leisurely 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Best Buy: All locations open early but close early too: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Walmart: Gonna outsmart everyone by hitting a 24-Hour Walmart? Guess again. All such locations lock their doors at 8 p.m. Friday.
