Paul Broussard: Hate-Crime Victim Lives On In Parole Fight Over His Attacker

• Let me set the record straight for those who are not fully informed...First, Jon Buice was the one who fatally stabbed Paul Broussard. So he is the one who should be in jail for murder. It was premeditated. They set out to bash homosexuals from the beginning of the evening. Ray Hill was nothing but a malcontent in the gay community looking for media attention. He was running for city council (if I recall right) at the time of Paul's murder. He latched on to Nancy Rodriguez and turned Paul's murder into a Crusade destined to get him elected. he lost the race but Paul's murderers ended up in jail where they belonged. Ray Hill pretty much faded into obscurity, only to resurface as a prisoner's rights advocate. Jon Buice is not rehabilitated and by the information surfacing, he is just as much of a con artist as his prisoner advocate, Ray Hill...The question is what is in it for Hill. He was the one leading the mob against Jon Buice and now he fights for his release. It is fine by me if Jon Buice stays in jail for another 20 years or more; after all, most premeditated killers get execute in Texas.

• The rest of them were released years ago. Most didn't do any time. Jon took the rap for them so their high paid Woodlands rats could keep them out of the system.

• Sofia thank you for the post, more people need to realize that a inmate can be rehabilitated.

• I personally meet Jon buice,HE IS Rehabilited,I feel bad for Paul`s mom,but we`ve all made mistakes as kids,admit it.Some more severe than others.Mrs, Rodriguez need to read the bible and learn how to forgive,in her shoes I would.Buice is a real gentleman and has paid he debt to society!!

• cc jon buice and 10 murderers: jon buice SHOULD NOT BE PAROLED; he and his 9 other monsters should have indeed received the death penalty for attacking someone who was not causing any harm to anyone. he and the others should at least remain in prison until they die--that would be justice. releasing him sends wrong messages to these horrible demons. thank you for allowing voices on such important issues.
