• Looks like we are getting that education cut now aren't we douchebag? Did you really think Republicans would not cut education? Of course they would because they want to dumb down the viter base and use people like David Barton to blur history to get more votes for the Republican Party because the population is veering toward the majority being hispanic and as we know they tend to vote democrat. Why do you think he would put the Voter ID bill as a priority before election time? Perry is a jerk and so is the Republicans in Texas, god this state sucks!!!

Perry admitted that he was against the federal income tax but had absolutely no defense as to why congress (as expressed in the constitution) should have the right to impose taxes. Perry showed his ass to the nation and if you are from Texas it was obvious. Perry is on his way to being a political clown just like Sarah Palin. Actually, he arrived at that station a long time ago.

I mean state funded universities are not really that needed so it is okay to cut their funding and force them to cut their budgets that includes lesser pays for everybody that work there since it is all fat. Then schools don't need the latest technologies and we don't need to hire more teachers in public schools since it is all fat. Yeah. Got to cut that unneeded fat.

• I agree with you, Richard. I saw the whole interview this morning (the above link only has the third of three segments) and thought Perry did pretty well. Stewart seemed a little off his game (the question comparing moving jobs to India vs jobs to Texas was just stupid...and the retort was even worse from Perry.) It was all kind of a little boring. Oh well.
