Houston Firefighter Calendar 2011 Is Here! Go Have Some Private Time!

Categories: Spaced City
The latest version of the always popular Houston Firefighters Calendar, featuring men holding things while not wearing any shirts, is out.

Saturday night was the release party, and the Facebook reviews are in.

Laura SR: I'm sssooo settin' my house on fire!

Michelle Ramon Garcia: I want 2 and i dont mean calenders....lol....likey alot

Janet Jamison Cobb: Hope to find one in my Stocking!!!!!

Etc., etc.

The firefighters have really made something out of all this, and more than $1.5 million has been raised through the years for children burned or crippled by accidents or fires. The funds also go to Camp Janus, which is a palce that "gives burned children from ages five to 15 the chance to be around other children who have suffered serious burn injuries," the gorup says. "The camp is staffed by volunteers from the Houston Fire Department, Hermann Hospital, Shriner's Burn Institute, and some adult burn survivors from around the community. All of these volunteers are dedicated, positive role models that seek to provide a quality camp environment."

So if you don't want to buy a calendar full of sweaty, hunky guys holding fire equipment for yourself, do it for the kids.
