A man was stabbed to death Sunday afternoon in a southwest side apartment, police say.
The victim and another man were arguing in an apartment and the fight escalated into a stabbing about 1:20 p.m. in the 6400 block of Bankside, police say. The victim, whose name was not released, was stabbed in the neck and pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect then fled the location, but returned and was taken into custody. No charges have been filed.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and when completed will be presented to the Harris County District Attorney for any further action.
