Rand Paul's Baylor Escapades Ignite Churchiness Battle

We've written before about the odd Baylor episode of Rand Paul, son of Houston's own Ron Paul and somehow a leading candidate for the Senate (in Kentucky, which may explain the "somehow").

His Democratic opponent, Jack Conway, has released an ad using details of what Paul says was a pranky tying up of a woman and telling her about his God Aqua Buddha (You had to be there, we guess.)

Paul has fired back by going bog-time Bible on Conway's ass.

Paul's counterpunch is so churchy we thought it was a late-night TV sermon.

Don't libertarians believe in all that hokey "separation of church and state" stuff? We guess not, when there's an election on the line and Kentuckians to be persuaded:
