That tiny, tiny thing surrounded by a sea of pale blue is the old Astros scoreboard, the one deemed perfectly acceptable by most people at the ballpark.
The pale blue? That's the size of the new scoreboard.

, has posted some illustrations of just what is coming with the $12 million "improvement" project
that will add more hugely distracting signage and video to the already ad-packed park.
Here's what the new hi-def TV screen will look like:
"The size of the new [scoreboard] appears to be just right -- large enough to make an impact, but not too big that it'll be a distraction," Footer writes.
