Last Chance To Vote Early: Avoid The West Gray Center

Last chance to vote the rascals out or keep them in
Tonight's your last chance to vote early, and you've only got until 7 p.m.

So on your way home, you'll probably stop at the West Gray Multi-Service Center, pop in and get it done, right?

Probably not. Reports are that it's crowded over there and getting worse, even before the rush hour starts. Not to mention all the TV news trucks there, reporting how crowded it is.

Our suggestions: If you're downtown, go to the main county offices at 1001 Preston. Reports we've been hearing have the lines consistently shorter there than at West Gray.
The other locations are more hit-and-miss. We've seen Twitter reports that Clear Lake, for instance, is getting a big last-minute turnout and the wait can be lengthy.

And some places seem to have big rushes and then stay quiet. You just have to get lucky.

It's not a disaster if you don't get to it today, of course. Your regular polling place will be open -- and possibly less crowded -- all day Election Day.
