Watch Out Muslims: State Senator Dan Patrick Creates "Tea Party Caucus" In Legislature

Right-wing radio guru Dan Patrick has announced the creation of a Tea Party Caucusfor the upcoming Texas legislative session.

And no, "Tea Party Caucus" is not necessarily a synonym for "Texas Legislature," at least not yet.

"The Tea Party has played an important role this year and I want to be sure their voices are heard in Austin long after next Tuesday," Patrick said in today's announcement. Because if there's one thing we know, it's that the Republicans running Texas government just don't pay enough attention to the Tea Party.
Tea Party Caucus members must sign on to the Texas Conservative Coaliton pledge, a magical wish list of promises to cut taxes while balancing the budget, reject federal funds that have "strings attached," secure the border and -- because ACORN is probably still out there, masterminding the kind of huge voter fraud that has resulted in a Democratic-dominated Texas legislature -- supporting legislation that requires "a secure, government-issued photo identification to be presented before voting."

Luckily, Patrick has already taken care of one of the most important bills ever considered by the state, one he proudly brags about on his website: "Dan's first legislative accomplishment was to have 'In God We Trust' permanently displayed in the Senate Chamber."

Sorry that post was botched. Dan is a Dangerous extremist. Human suffering means little to him, in fact he seams full of strife. Fair treatment of men seams unimportant. .,and the will of the taxpayers is not part of his agenda. Rational thoughts are not in his decision making toolbox. He is using the good book to find ways to satisfy his lower dog like urges. Put do unto others first before the details. His arguments are held up by strife and not morals. The moral should be the most important one. Finding your center and treating others with dignity and bringing peace to the world. This guy just wants to force people to do things. Next bill Dan Patrick and the Tea Party Caucus sponsor--HR 760, a joint resolution condemning the "political targeting" of Chris Matthews. Ah, I remember listening to him in the morning, getting riled up for class in the pre-9/11 world, and hearing how homosexuals were child molesters that used the acts to convert children into being queers. I feel sorry for that little girl who was forced into watching that pervert expose himself, and probably more. Just remember that when someone crusades against homosexuals like that, they're usually sexually harassing young interns or have some skeletons of their own.
Yeah, Sarge! He also wants to build a 100 foot wall along the entire Texas border and have it patrolled by volunteer gunmen. He wants to cut not only taxes, but programs too, though he doesn't say which ones. And reduce the spending that goes to schools unless it's for the classroom. We really don't need to be spending on athletics, drama, art, music and that kinda crap. Oh, and he wants to cap appraisal increases for homeowners. And enact the right Christian agenda of outlawing abortion, and having prayer time in school and Christian symbols displayed prominently in public places, government buildings and such. Finally, he's for dental subsidies that would allow every Texan the same type of capped-teeth smile that he enjoys. He's a truly amazing American hero.

Well said Rich. Dan Patrick has been a buffoon long before this and even before being a bankrupt sports bar owner. Must be those genes God gave him. On second thought, we'd better not trust in God, with these clowns in office. Cut taxes, and deregulate, that's their entire program and plan. Any wonder we're seeing more red ink?
