Quincy Lee Johnson, Jr.: Strangled his 90-year-old great-grandmother, police say
Capital murder charges have been filed against the great-grandson of a 90-year-old woman found strangled to death on the west side, police say.

Quincy Lee Johnson, Jr., 17, has been charged with murdering Aileen Willis, 90, in the 700 block of Cherrybark October 1. Police initially believed Willis had died of natural causes, but an autopsy revealed she had been strangled.

Johnson had recently moved in with Willis, police said. Investigators tracked him down in Van Zandt County, and HPD says he has confessed to the crime.
