The 2010 Best of Houston issue is out, and formally hits the streets today. As always, it contains an eclectic mix of categories and picks, and you readers get the chance to chime in.

And when you do, you often disagree with us.

Only one can be right, right? You or us? Let's look at five items where we disagree.

5. Best Hero
Staff: Lima, a cat who fought off two pit bulls to rescue her owner
Readers: Annise Parker
Yeah, Parker had a good year -- she got our staff nod for Best Democrat -- but did she take on two pit bulls? (Metro and Rick Perry's campaign don't count.)

4. Best Radio Station
Staff: 103.7 FM
Readers: 740 AM
Well, we're just going to have to admit that two very different questions apparently got asked here. We answered the one about quirky-if-corporate music, and you the one on rightwing talk radio. To each his or her own.

3. Best Local TV News Reporter
