A man walking along a street in northwest Houston was shot in the head and killed early Sunday morning, police said.
Shot in the street at 3 a.m.
Douglas Wayne Evans, 51, was walking near Crosstimbers and Yale about 3 a.m. when a red Jeep Cherokee, driven by a woman, pulled up, police said they were told by a witness.
The witness then heard a gunshot, and police were called and found the body. The Jeep Cherokee may have some damage, and police are seeking information.
