UT-Notre Dame Football Series: It's Coming, Longhorns

• ND, while a strong school, has lost its ability to hang with the elites. On the other hand, UT is one of the top 5 elite teams in the country. Now, I respect ND football from the past but they will not have the same success they had in the past against Texas football. I look forward to this match up when it happens. I also believe the lack of ND committing to a conference, becoming a member as it were, shows just how scared they are to commit year to year competing in a division that could eliminate them from bowl contention. Joe Paterno even said they don�t want them, (ND), in their conference, because of their arrogance. Joe knows football. Sadly, ND�s young fans have no understanding that this isn�t your daddy�s football. ND is struggling to get back to their glory days. In the 21st century, so far, Texas rules! Texas will make a run for the national Championship again this year. ND will not. Can Kelly make a difference? I doubt it, but we will see.

• Crap, this blogger is so right. Why do we keep scheduling cupcakes? How often do we make this mistake? The only team we have on schedule of any significance for the forseeable future is BYU. I say we get nd off the schedule and make a move for a more desirable team like, ohhhh, I don't know, Iowa. I wish I had seen this post when it was first "published"

• More jealousy of UT. Ugh. It most be a very slow news day.

• Yeah the interview with Mack Brown on CFB Live was hilarious. He says Texas is expected to win at least 10 games per year. With the likes of: RICE, UCF,Iowa State,Baylor,KANSAS STATE, WYOMING,UTEP,MISSOURI, Florida ATL, I can see this doable for any team in the top 30. Texas has an overinflated ego. They have had a good many years beating the crap out of division 2 teams, and now they think they own CFB. UT doesn't know Tradition if it was slapped on their heads as a cowboy hat and a pair of shit kicking boats. UT SUCKS !

• UT the team that plays a BS schedule every year and who had the nerve to call the Pac 10 an inferior conference to the now the Big 10. UT Never wants to talk about their storied tradition past Mack Brown. ND can roll right over the Horns if they play there cards right. They have plenty of time to get ready, but I have a feeling that they will meet sooner than 2015. Brian K can recruit and he can coach, its just about timing. UT has to remember we have been playing a team that without question is a tougher team, USC. We have come close in past years but now its only a matter of time Irish Fans. Open a can of Genius and watch the fun begin, because Brian K is going to make it happen.

• Perhaps UT and its fans, who dream of having ND's tradition, can learn a thing or two. Richard, you ignorant slut. I am pretty sure four national championships has given UT's football program a measure of tradition. When was Notre Dame's last championship? Oh, yeah, it's been awhile. Please name one champion from the last twenty years who did not play some lesser teams early in the year.
