Middle Men: Blame Houston For Internet Porn

Categories: Movies

A Goodfellas-like movie coming out tomorrow puts the blame -- or the credit, we guess -- for the entire world of internet porn squarely on Houston.

Where's our statue, then?

The film is loosely based on the story of Christopher Mallick, who played a role in hooking up online credit-card payments and porn. As far as we can tell, he's only claimed to have come from Texas, but in the film he's from Houston.

As portrayed by Luke Wilson, he's a normal ol' Houston businessman who gets caught up in the flashy world of porn, which we guess can happen to anyone.

Critics -- including ours -- seem to like the film well enough, although tweaking it for being a little too heavily influenced by Goodfellas and Martin Scorsese in general.

None of the filming was done here, according to IMDB. It looks like LA and Arizona stood in for us.
