Louie Gohmert Makes Debbie Riddle Look Sane On CNN

You thought Texas came off bad on Anderson Cooper's show Wednesday when Tomball state rep Debbie Riddle blabbered on incomprehensibly about Terror Babies?

It got worse for Texas last night.

US Rep Louie Gohmert "Pyle" went on, and was epic as only he can be.

Whining petulantly whenever Cooper asked for evidence ("You're attacking the messenger...You're better than that, Anderson"), he said Cooper and Jon Stewart could "have all the fun they want" with him, but he was speaking God's truth that terror babies were being spurted out all over America.

His evidence consisted of the fact that companies do line up trips for foreigners to have babies here. Not for terrorism purposes, though. But Gohmert was insistent that jihadists were not stupider, or something, than those birth tourists, and would obviously take advantage of that "gaping hole in our security" so they could bomb us in 15 or 20 years.

When told by Cooper that high-ranking former FBI agents said this was nonsense, and that jihadists wren't exactly hurting for recruits, Gohmert said whoever that former agent was, on September 10 he would have said there was no plan to take down the World Trade Center.

Which, of course, ignores the famous "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US" report, the one that George W. Bush briefly glanced at said "Okay, you've covered your ass."

Anyway, the Gohmert thing is highly entertaining. Watch and be amazed. And keep a lookout for terror babies!!
