​A man was found stabbed to death in a Third Ward garage apartment Sunday; the man with whom he was arguing was questioned but not charged.

Police responded to a disturbance call in the 5900 block of Grace about 12:10 a.m. Sunday and found a man stabbed in the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Further investigation determined the victim and another male were involved in a disturbance which escalated into a physical fight," police said. "At some point, the victim was stabbed. The other male has been detained for questioning but has not been charged at this time."

The case will be reviewed by the Harris County District Attorney's office to determine if any charges should be filed, or whether it was legitimate self-defense.
