Shannon Walker, Westbury Astronaut: Bang, You Big Jerk, You're In Space

​ This is how the Houston Chronicle treats the first homegrown astronaut? We're appalled. Frankly.

Shannon Walker, proudly repping the Westbury neighborhood in space, is doing a blog for the Chron about the experience.

And this is the headline they give her? Calling her a jerk?

"Bang, Jerk, You're in Space." How rude. Or maybe something Ralph Kramden would say to his wife.

We can only hope Walker overlooks the insult and comes home.
