Motorcyclist wiped out by drunk driver, police say
A guy riding his Harley through a southeast Houston intersection Saturday night was killed by a drunk driver, police say.

The 41-year-old motorcyclist, whose identity is being withheld until his family is notified, had the green light at 300 Genoa Red Bluff Road about 8:20 p.m. when he was struck.

Reyes Reyna, 55, has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

Police said:

The victim was operating a black Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Genoa Red Bluff when he entered the intersection of Allen Genoa. Witnesses reported the motorcyclist had a green light.

The driver of a green Mazda B2000 pickup truck, Reyna, was driving east on Genoa Red Bluff when he failed to yield the right of way and attempted to turn left, striking the motorcyclist.
