| Some driver was a long way from the road |
Houston police say a hit-and-run driver left the roadway and traveled the 200 feet to the homeless man's encampment about 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
"Evidence left at the scene suggests the car that struck the sleeping man was a 2007 to 2010 Nissan Altima," police say. "The driver of the Altima did not stop and offer any assistance to the victim before fleeing the scene of the accident."
Because hey, it's just a homeless dude, right?
Police are looking for any information on "on a 2007 to 2010 Nissan Altima that sustained damage between Saturday night and Sunday morning."
CrimeStoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information.
