• K, I judged Kelly by his actions, period. What a coward! NOTHING gave him the right to do what he did to Tom. He took a Father from 2 young girls. So, don't waste your time defending him.

• I guess I am the only one who didnt hear about this whole ordeal, and up until I just read what happened on this page, I was under the impression that he died in an auto accident. I am amazed and saddened all over again. Tom was my best friend, big brother, and confidant. I am shocked that someone took his life so prematurely, as he had so many beautiful years left ahead of him. He was someone who saved my life on a few occasions. I am heartbroken to hear he is gone, and angered as hell to hear someone took his life, purposefully or accidental. May God continue to bless the Tarver family, and Tom, you always were my brother from another mother who allowed a friendship to blossom into a true kinship. I love you dude. I'm glad you knew the way I felt about you before God called you home. Save me a spot in Heaven, and I guarantee you I will seek you out just so we can hang out again.

• I totally agree with Joel and Tammy Lee.I always admired Tom in many ways. He was a fair and honest man regarding our business dealings. We treated each other with mutual respect. Tom and Joel's father and mother were always kind to me. If these Jack@ess don't stop speculating and making things up Kevin and Joel will find you and kick your damn ass. You know who you are RIP my friend Tom. My condolences Joel and to the entire Tarver family. I never had a cross word with any Tarver and they are all truly well raised, well behaved and intelligent people. No comment on Kelly. I never knew the man. I have known the Tarver family for 16 years and still have my home, second home, car, work van and boat insurance with American insurance. If you people have nothing nice to say, keep your mouth shut!

• They were both great, wonderful people and did not deserve this. Kelly was trying to keep his nephew from going down the same path he went. You figure it out you stupid idiots. Kelly only wanted what was best for his nephew and was trying to keep him on a straight, business path, not a party path, which is what was going on. • This is bad for everyone involved. My condolences go out to both families. I knew both 10 years ago but was a very close friend of kelly's the last 6 months i was in Houston before moving away. He had a great heart and loved his friends and his family more than any one ever could. He hated when he felt that he was betrayed and it killed him even more if he felt betrayed by a close friend or family member. His actions were wrong in every way and i wish someone would have been with him to calm him down before his tragic decision. Everyone is grieving and hopefully there can be forgiveness as well.

• Tom, I know you and my husband were not on good terms over the past year or so, but I wanted to say that you never deserved this! You were ALWAYS the life of the party and we had some great times at the beach house in Galveston. You were a great father and I know you love those girls sooo much. May God bless the family and his closest of friends.

• i was with Tom rite before it happen KELLY was mad cause Kelly kicked his nephew out of his house. Clint worked for tom so Tom told them clint could live with him. so Kelly got pissed cause Tom was helping Clint , came to the house in a rage argued with Tom for a while about politics n what ever else , then he shot Tom twice n shot himself . . i knew Tom and elly for over 20 years .Tom was a loving father and a goodhearted man R.I.P I took the weekend off cause Tom n me where headed to the beach house GOD BLESS TOM AND HIS LOVING FAMILY
