Get Him To The Greek: Win Free Tickets; Three Questions The Movie Needs To Answer

Categories: Movies

Get Him to the Greek stars Russell Brand as a drug-infested rock star and Jonah Hill as the uptight assistant whose job it is to get him to a gig at the Greek Theater in LA.

Three questions that can be resolved only by seeing the movie:

1. Didn't we see this movie already?

Tense assistant helping wild star -- sounds a lot like My Favorite Year. And Jonah Hill's career very could end up being a lot like Mark Linn Baker's. Russell Brand is no Peter O'Toole, though.

2. Will it beat the "get him on stage" scene from The Wall?

In a word, no. At least that's our prediction.

3. When he finally gets to the Greek, will it result in this magnificence?

They don't make album covers like this anymore

We know what you're thinking: This is Ben Stiller in a bad comedy about a `70s rock star. But you're wrong: It's Neil Diamond, on the cover of the most famous album recorded at the Greek.

Note the majestic cheesiness of the hair, the clothes. Try not to imagine what Neil's doing with his hands.

Know also the quote Diamond included in the liner notes: "The stage, she is the God-damnedest woman you ever saw."

And stand back in awe.
