As you make your long-weekend plans, one thing to keep in mind: Harris County is having another one of those "No Refusal" campaigns designed to nab drunk drivers...and drunk boaters.

"If you plan to be driving a motor vehicle or at the helm of a boat, we ask that you act sensibly and safely," District Attorney Pat Lykos said. "We don't tolerate DWI drivers or boaters, and the terrible tragedies that can result from that kind of irresponsible conduct."

So beginning at 10 p.m. tonight the cops will be ready, with judges and nurses on hand to take blood tests from the drivers who heed the classic advice of "DON'T DO THE BREATHALYZER!!!"

Turn down the breath test this weekend, and you cut off your options of otherwise proving your sobriety, the DAs office said (Not that you're supposed to do the "roadside gymnastics" anyway, either, according to lawyers.)

"The process begins at that point for drawing your blood for testing," Catherine Evans, head of the DAs vehicular crimes unit, said. "If you have concerns or fears about needles, just know you'll have one chance -- and one chance only -- to provide a breath sample first."

Last year's No Refusal Memorial Day Weekend Blowout resulted in 247 DWI-related charges, the DAs office said. Fifty-one defendants had prior DWIs.

And no, the office did not announce exactly where they'll be on the hunt. You're on your own.

Update: Montgomery County, too:

The Montgomery County District Attorney announces a continuation of the nation's most comprehensive No Refusal campaign this Memorial Day weekend. Officers from a multitude of agencies will be enforcing our DWI laws and seat belt laws this weekend. The most advanced technology for DWI will be used during this program scheduled to run this Saturday and Sunday. The message is that impaired drivers will face serious consequences this weekend for and DWI and BWI charge.
