Don't Depend On Light Rail To Get You Anywhere This Weekend
A new pedestrian bridge is being installed over Fannin in the Medical Center, and that means trains are out of business. Instead shuttle buses will run along the light-rail route, to a degree.

The rail will be out from 8 p.m. tonight until 2 p.m. Saturday, which is pretty much the entire weekend.(Don't ask us how that jibes with a "last train at 8:30 p.m." announcement.) We're sure the new pedestrian bridge will be great, though.

Starting at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday night, METRO will run rail shuttle bus service along the rail corridor at the following frequency (frequency refers to the time between buses):
Friday, April 16: 8 - 9 p.m. - 10-minute frequency
9 p.m. - 2 a.m. - 12-minute frequency
Saturday, April 17: 5:15 a.m. - 9 p.m. - 6-minute frequency
9 p.m. - 2 a.m. - 10-minute frequency
Sunday, April 18: 5:15 a.m. - 2 p.m. - 6-minute frequency
