Getting Jerked Around by the Hi-Miler at the Rodeo Carnival

• I just noticed that you posted this comment last year. In case you didn't know a man died this year from this ride this past friday. Of course nothing was wrong with the ride, sad that this happened to this family.

• I am thankful that my kids got off this ride safely. I was worried about them being in the last car. I almost felt like my son's girlfriend was going to fly out at one point.

• Just want to (sarcastically) thank the Houston Press for supporting animal cruelty by featuring the rodeo in every other blog post and, I assume, filling their pockets with your filthy lucre.

• Fair coasters are notoriously jerky and painful...

• Good choice on staying INSIDE the car Jeff! :-)

• It WAS painful! No gentle curves on this one, just abrupt u-turns at the top of each bump that jarred you against the non-padded metal side of the car. I tried to be all cool and shoot a couple photos with the point-and-shoot but abandoned that idea within about 15 seconds as I realized my hand was needed much more for keeping me from flying out the side of the car than for shooting purty pictures. :)
