They're Already Droppin' Their Gs For Sarah Palin's Appearance

Rick Perry fans, Alaska fans, fans of incredibly inexperienced cliche-spoutin' national politicians, they're all pumped for the big rally Saturday featuring the governor and Sarah Palin. And Ted Nugent, too, but that's just icing on the cuckoo cake.

Jes' how downhome is alla this speechifyin' a-goin' to be? We can take our cue from the e-mail sent out to people who reserved tickets, from the Perry campaign:

Speaking of dress this is a rally -- so jeans and boots casual, be comfortable.

Now due to the environment we all live in today. This is a private event. No trespassing is allowed, it is for Perry supporters. No signs, sticks, or glass bottles or cans allowed. Please bring your cameras, cell phones, and PDA's, your voices, your enthusiasm, your patience and your conservative spirit. This is going to be a liberty-lovin', freedom-singin', blow the doors down, good ole' fashioned rally. We are excited to see you this Sunday.

Man, they're droppin' Gs like a Wall Street banker at a hookers-and-blow party. Interestingly, they're still encouraging people to "please encourage your friends and family to register" for tickets, as a "limited number" are still available.

On the other hand, they are having two events, it appears, one at the arena and one at the indoor stadium at the Berry Complex in Cypress.

They'll be a-simulcastin' each one to the other venue, so you won't miss a thing. Or a thin'.

True to an extent, which is a big piece of the reason the Conservatives begun leaving behind the Republicans a full decade ago, or at the very least stopped voting for their candidates. Im somewhat middle-of-the-road, but no way was I going to vote for a Bush or McCain. However, the Presidency only has so much force - they CANNOT legislate and a more precise assesment of expenditure comes from looking at who is leading the House and Senate, not the White House. The Obamabots are drawing a distinction when it accommodates them as their President sputters to enact his agenda, and the Bushies did the same when the state of affairs was reversed later in his Presidency.
Doll - Insecure much? You basically threatened violence on anyone who calls you "cuckoo" to your face. Really? Cuckoo? Will you stab me if I call you a "knave"? What's the payback for "goofball"?
Internet Rule: If you do something mockable, you will be mocked. Droppin' Gs is mighty mockable. The Press could have done worse, given the phrase "good ole' fashioned rally" combined with speculation on the black population at said rally. But they didn't.
Doll Baby, Pls realize that these teabaggers, whose rally Rich is describing, are just a subset of Republicans. Thankfully. He is not calling all Republicans nuts. Guys like Kevin Phillips are smart Republicans who would offer a similar appraisal of these outraged simpletons.

Put your drawers back on, Richard Doll. "Cuckoo" is nothing compared to all of the political tasteless name-calling going on nowadays. If you're really conservative, ignore it instead of reacting to it.
Boy, you sure are tolerant. Since you disagree with the republicans, they must all be "cuckoo". FYI - the only one dropping G's is you, in your attempt to denigrate the people you're writing about. You know what, I'm republican, however I respect you're right to disagree with me. Fact is, I'd love to sit down and have a political discussion with you over a beer anytime. But you call me "cuckoo" to my face, you might not like how your night ends.
